Her husband passed away four years ago from cancer and then last year Sue was diagnosed with the same disease. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and has been in and out of hospital. Her daughters attempted to give the house their own ‘60 Minute Makeover’ but their DIY skills were less than impressive! So the family asked the ITV 60 minute makeover team to come and do the job properly as a surprise for their Mum. With skilled designer Derek Taylor firmly at the helm, Sue’s living room, main bedroom and guest bedroom were about to get a glamorous renovation.
