In 1990 two brothers, Chris, a gas engineer now with over 30 years of experience and Ian, a skilled sheet metal worker, combined their expertise and opened a retail outlet in Liverpool selling fires made by Ian to be then installed by Chris. Over the years Crystal Gas Fires have worked with the British Gas Testing House for their product development, approvals and licensing and have gone from strength to strength, winning awards on the way for their original innovative designs. 22 years on Crystal Fires are one of the market leaders due to an extensive range of contemporary and traditional Living Flame gas fires, always with the main focus on build quality and product efficiency. Crystal fires have now introduced a High Efficiency version of the stunning Gem gas fire which is called the Montana High Efficiency gas fire and is glass fronted gas fire which makes it up to 80% efficient. The Crystal Montana HE gas fire produces up to 4.0kW maximum heat output and comes with a coal fuel bed or pebble fuel bed and also can either come with a manual control or remote control for additional cost. As with all Crystal gas fires you can create your own contemporary or traditional fire design with there large choice of Crystal fire frets & trims or one of Crystal's fascias in a range of different colours.

Crystal fire have also now introduced a High Efficiency version of the stunning Royale hole in the wall gas fire which is called the Montana Royale HIW High Efficiency gas fire and is glass fronted gas fire and is up to 80% efficient. The Crystal Montana Royale HIW HE gas fire produces up to 4.0kW maximum heat output and comes with a Coal or pebble fuel bed and either manual controls or a remote control as additional cost option. This Hole in the Wall HE gas fire can either come in a black finish as shown in image below or a chrome or a brushed finish.
