The Dalton stove boasts an incredibly simple and fast control system as well as easy ash collection for stress-free maintenance. The Flavel Dalton stove can achieve a heat output of 4.9kW and an efficiency of 78.8% and is suitable for use in Smoke Control Areas when burning wood, as well as authorised smokeless fuels.

Fires2u are proud to introduce the complete range of DRU Multifuel and Wood Burning Stove range on there website and can deliver to mainland England, Wales or Scotland!

DRU multi-fuel stoves can burn wooden logs, coal, coke, brown coal or anthracite. They are built using the strongest Norwegian cast iron and are designed to withstand Scandinavian-style winters, when the stove burns all day, every day

Safe for people and the environment

DRU stoves meet the most stringent European quality and safety standards. They also have an efficiency rating of over 75%, with most fumes being burnt thanks to the stoves' unique airflow system

Elegant and smart

DRU stoves are made in the traditional style, with a large glass window that gives excellent views of the fire. This is enhanced by an 'air curtain' that helps to keep the glass clean. The chimney can be connected to the top or back of the stove, whilst a heat shield at the rear protects the wall from discolouration

Unique burning process

DRU stoves have a unique triple burning system -

1. Primary air is pulled in from beneath the fire plate to start the combustion process
2. Secondary air from the back is fed through lower chambers to the front. Part of this is used to air-wash the glass
3. Tertiary air is injected through small holes at the back of the chamber. This, in combination with the secondary air, ensures complete pulverisation of the fuel and the burning of fumes for maximum efficiency

User friendly and safe

DRU stoves are easy to use and maintain. They have a convenient side loading door for the fuel. The ash pan is easily removed through its own door. A ‘cold-grip’ handle is provided to open all of the doors, and is kept in a cool place under the stove.

Many choices of fuel

DRU stoves can accommodate 20” or 23” logs and other solid fuels, such as coal, brown coal, coke and anthracite. A funnel is provided to feed coal to the combustion chamber. It burns slowly and gradually and can be controlled with an adjustable thermostat.

Colour options

At fires2u we sell DRU stoves in the standard colour: anthracite, however for additional cost they are also available in the following enamelled colours: Ivory, Charcoal or Majolica Brown. Enamelled surfaces are robust and easy to clean.
